How the pieces fit

Make a project for the role.
Write criteria and launch a search in it. This uses one shortlist credit.
The search finishes with an outcome (Shortlist ready, Poor yield or No results) and fills the project’s shortlist with everyone at or above the cut-off. See async jobs.
Read the scored people, try scoring changes (free), and edit the shortlist.
For more people, search your workspace’s candidates again (free) or expand (one more credit).

Every action is deterministic

A search sent with criteria runs exactly those criteria: no model chooses what to search. Only a search sent with jd_text alone has its criteria read from the description by Revcenter, and the response says so (compiled_by: "revcenter_model").
