Agents: the full documentation index is at /llms.txt.
Coming soon. This recipe uses the revcenter CLI and MCP server, which are not published yet. Until then, the quickstart and the backend job recipe do the same through the API.
A coding agent can drive Revcenter through the MCP server or by running the CLI. Both call the same API, so the agent does the reasoning and Revcenter does the searching, scoring and keeping of the shortlist. This recipe uses 1 shortlist credit, for one search.

1. Connect the agent

Keep the key in the client’s configuration, never in the prompt.

2. Give it the brief

3. What the agent runs

These are the same steps as CLI commands, which is also how an agent without MCP does it. Each step’s output is what the agent reads.
compiled_by: "caller" means the search runs exactly the agent’s criteria. If the agent retries with the same --key, it gets "reused": true and the same search_id, and no second credit is used:
The same key on a different request is refused, so an agent can’t relaunch with new criteria by accident:
Nothing is launched or charged. A new search needs a new key.
A preview changes nothing and uses no credits. The numbers above are from a small example search.
